Education is instrumental in generating job opportunities so that an individual may sustain himself/herself and the family.
ISWP, towards this end, has established a vocational training centre, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, at Potka. Stitching, organic farming, mushroom cultivation, computer, bamboo crafting and wood art are among the few skills taught at the Centre. Training in sports, such as, archery, volley-ball, basket-ball and football is also provided here.
‘Sports as a way of life’, has been ISWP’s motto.
The Company has opened a sports complex for the community youth to get trained and find suitable jobs and scholarships to sustain their education and make a fruitful life for themselves.
